A small town girl raised in the big city.

Since I was a little girl I can remember wanting to be a hairstylist. It has always been a passion of mine. I can remember sitting in the salon while my mother got her hair done and just admiring all the stylists and seeing all the men and women completely transform in front of my eyes. It always just looked like so much fun!

 

I spent my youth trying to do fun up do's on my sisters and friends or my mom when I could and the odd time I tried cutting my sisters hair... My mom was less then pleased.. haha. As I grew a little older and gained more confidence in myself I would always offer to color, highlight, or cut my friends hair on a regular basis I just couldn't get enough; But with a lack of education and knowing what I was really doing, it didn't always turn out so great but I always had so much fun doing it. Being able to see people smile, knowing that I had something to do with that holds a special place in my heart, it truly is a blessing to be able to turn someones drab day into a fab day!  That was when I knew I wanted to do this for a living. It has always been such a passion of mine.

 

When I finally got to go to  cosmetology school I graduated top of my class that year and top of the school from previous years. I went out into the "real" world right after graduation to gain all the knowledge and experience I needed before being able to open my own in home hair studio which has been the main goal from the start, being able to work from home has no better ring to it.
